Brant is one of the few male characters that I’ve ever played. I created him for a D&D 4e game that I didn’t play for long, but I enjoyed the character. I found some records of his character concept while cleaning out my e-mails and thought I would share them. Maybe it will spur on an idea or two for a character of your own!
As much as I love standing on a soap box, I love even more getting input from other people. I welcome replies to all of my posts, but especially my discussion topics. So, come join the conversation and offer your $0.02!
Question: When is it okay to kill off a (player/main) character?
Note: It may help to understand that I am coming at this as a reader and a writer, as well as a roleplayer. So, if my angle is that of a plot-focused roleplay with a beginning and an end, just as a story would have, that is why.
So that said, let me start this discussion by sharing a few stories of my own experiences on the subject.
I wrote this article for my friends at tor_ladies, but it’s broad enough that it can really apply to anyone who wants to dip their toes into MMO RP. Enjoy!
